Consumer driven Healthcare is a rapidly growing trend globally, basically, consumers taking control of their own healthcare spending. Avantis Health support consumers and businesses to effectively purchase their healthcare
Being part of our global provider network, enables hospitals and other healthcare providers to get access to patients who want to purchase healthcare from you.
How it works
It’s really simple!
Once signed up, Provider will provide quotations to our member for their healthcare needs (this is automated and therefore will not be a draw on your staff time.)
From the list of providers who quote for the treatment, the consumer chooses a provider, Avantis will put a standard agreement in place between the provider and the patient which confirms:
- Price
- Date of treatment
- Facilities confirmed for example single room
- Doctor who will perform the procedure
- Aftercare arrangements
We take a small deposit from the customer (c.€50) to ensure that they are serious. The patient pays the cost of the treatment directly to the hospital / provider following the treatment (Avantis will confirm to the provider that the customer has the funds available)
If you have capacity available at specific times, you can offer through our “special offers” sent daily to our members who have expresses an interest in that treatment area.
Benefits for the providers

- We don’t deliver you leads which may or may not turn into revenue – we significant reduce you marketing and staff costs associated with turning leads into patients.
- We ensure the patient has the funds to pay therefore removing your credit risk
- We put a simple agreement in place between you and the patient to remove “misunderstandings” that can emerge later
- We give you access to both international and local patients who want to purchase their healthcare.
Costs
Our business model is very straight forward
Providers pay a €50 annual administration charge (waived for the first year) to cover our cost of keeping their detail up to date on our database.
For each confirmed patient who purchases treatment, we take a small fee of from the provider, typically 5%.

- We will be in contact to agree rates for the procedures you offer and to verify some information that will be important to Avantis members such as registration authority, facilities etc
- We will also arrange a visit to you facility
